Rather than repeat what others have reported here, most of which is fairly accurate, I thought I would report on my personal experience at this property.

I had two EXCELLENT stays last month: firstly for two nights travelling DOH-MNL-CEB, secondly for one night travelling CEB-MNL-DOH.

On both occasions my Hilton Lifetime Diamond status was recognised even before I arrived - as a consequence of requests made via the Conrad Concierge App.

On first arrival a member of staff (who must have been waiting a long time, given I hadn't advised an arrival time!) greeted me as I stepped out of the taxi at street level and escorted me straight up to the 7th floor EL for check-in. There I was greeted by, amongst others, the Front Office Manager, Cindy M, who couldn't have been more charming if she tried; we had a lengthy conversation. I was upgraded to a suite (room #7058).

On my second morning at breakfast (3rd floor Brasserie) I thought I recognised the General Manager, Harald F, so approached him to say hello. He gave me a good 10 minutes of his time, talking about the property, Lifetime Diamond, etc. He followed this up after my check-out with a pleasant and personal e-mail.

On second arrival - now being familiar with the layout of the property - I made my own way from street level (as traffic was heavy on a Sunday afternoon the taxi dropped me off at an entrance to the S Maison shopping centre) to the 3rd floor check-in. Upon advising my name, firstly the Guest Relations Manager and, secondly a lovely lady called Carina rushed over to welcome me back to the property. Carina advised that this time check-in would be in my room, so she escorted me to an even bigger suite (room #5040) than the previous one to complete the formalities. Carina then followed this up by escorting me to an ATM to withdraw some PHP - talk about good service!

Upon check-out (extended to 4:00PM without issue) Carina escorted me down to street level, where a Grab (similar to Uber) taxi pre-ordered by the hotel was waiting to take me to the airport - a very swift 15 minute journey via Skyway.

At least for this Lifetime Diamond member the personal service could not be faulted in the slightest; all the staff I came into contact with were of the highest calibre. And I am now the proud owner of three carabao stuffed toys!

Depends on what your are looking for, the hotel is right next door to Mall Of Asia, a huge shopping mall with many restaurants and bars, there are also some good restaurants in the S Maison building where the Conrad is located.

I had an outstanding stay a few months ago. Especially rewarding was the spa. Lovely facility with wonderful staff and well-priced treatments. Therapist Mayeth provided the best deep tissue massage I have ever had.

For casual dining at MOA, I thought IPPUDO and Tim Ho Wan were pretty good.

Just finished a five night stay and was very happy with the service.

I arranged car service pick up from the airport which is probably $30-35 usd more than Grab but well worth it for me after a long flight. Was taken straight from the car to an upgraded suite room (5035) where check-in took place.

Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. No request unanswered. Housekeeping did an excellent job and always got 4-5 bottles of water a day. Nice turn down service. EL is good with nice selection of food and basic alcohol. No business center where to print documents which I thought was unusual. Breakfast in dining area was good. Sometimes a little too much attention when I just wanted to eat. A/C works great which is sometimes rare in SEA.

My only complaint is that I believe the building to be of poor construction. Sound proofing is minimal and could hear people screaming on a waterfront ride 500 meters away. Noise from other rooms and pool also present. The exterior of the building showing discoloration and cracking. It's a shame because the interior is done well but didn't give the proper attention to things like insulating windows and walls.

Also, I had two different reservations for the 5 nights (2 & 3 nights) but at check out the folio only listed the 3 night reservation but line item all 5 nights thus only crediting me 3 nights. Took 6 emails and 2 phone calls to remedy this. Next time I'll get a folio for each reservation.

Fully agree with this. To be honest I wasn’t a fan of the whole architecture and feel of the structure - it looks great on the website, but the reality is different. And that screaming from those fairground rides on the beach did my head in!

I have an upcoming stay and received an email from Guest Services which included the paragraph:

We would also like to advise that the hotel is undergoing refurbishment work affecting sections of our façade which is being done in phases. Kindly be assured that we remain committed in ensuring that you are not inconvenienced during your stay. We thank you for your kind understanding.

Perhaps they're addressing some of the external building issues?

1 stay, no upgrade over a 4-night stay. Didn't even get a room on the bay side.

Will mention that the the stay happened to coincide with a national holiday, but on the other hand, the hotel didn't appear to be all that busy that day either.

My understanding is the location needs to be listed on Hilton.com/resorts
The Conrad is not on that list.
