Arrow Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh University Place {US-PA}

Has anyone stayed at this property? I understand it used to be the Wyndham. Our family is heading to the Burgh this week for a wedding and this is where most of the guests are staying. I tried a search but didn't find any reviews. I'm curious what FT folks think of this place.

Which HGI are you asking about, there are at least three: Univ. Place, Cranberry, and Southpointe.

I stayed there last September for a workshop at CMU. I found the staff to be friendly. Waiting for the valet can be annoying when there is a line, but the kids are usually quick if there is no line. Breakfast was decent, nothing memorable, but I left full. The room was clean, and housekeeping did a good job.

Oakland is a convenient enough place to be, since there are several convenience stores nearby, ATMs, and restaurants.
