Hilton Honors and Membership Rewards - 33% transfer bonus
Got a mailed promotion from Hilton that offers me 2000 HHonors points for every 1000 I transfer from AMEX Membership Rewards. It states that it is a 33% bonus.
1) Are any of you taking advantage of this - Is it worth it in comparison to transfering to airline programs?
2) A 33% bonus? If I get 2K for every 1K, isnt that a 100% bonus or am I missing something?

you typically get 1500 hhonors points for 1000 amex.
so it's not a 1:1 transfer, but a 1:1.5
this must be factored in to calculate the bonus offer.
