welcome to FT!
i don't know where you got your numbers for points, but the Hilton site shows the airline awards are more points than you are quoting.....where are you getting the figures for Northwest???

just recieved a email stating that northwest will not extend points at old rate and hhonors is now awaiting new code from them for after 10/2003. seems to me this is a way of not letting people do the year in advance with old points.i've talked to 4 supervisors and head of the dept.
As the last resort i booked aa for 125000 as in 1 week they would have been 150000 each. Not 1 person i talked with seemed to care about the problem either. This is a first since i always felt hilton treated me more than fair.the first supervisor told me i would get the trip for 85000 each which ended up at 125000 each . this 80000 more for the 2 tickets. i asked after booking aa if i could recieve priority shipping on the vouchers wiyth the trouble i've been thru and they told me for $25 extra i could have it.

Why would you need priority shipping if you are not going to fly until January 2004?

The first 2 supervisors I talked to said that I could get the nw flight for 85000 points, but it would take up to 5 working days for them to get the code. After 3 weeks the supervisors still stated they could get it once they got the code, only a letter from websight said it wasn't available. The reason for the faster delivery was with all the problems on this transaction I was also told come june 1st the airline miles would be 25000 more per ticket so I wanted to be sure I got at old rate. If I had to pay rate as of June 1st 150,000 points per ticket that would be almost double what was promised.
