Upgrading to Exec Floor.

My partner and i are planning a weekend away with a couple of friends who are nor HHonors members. In order to try to get both rooms on the Exec Floor (UK hotel) would it be better for me to book 2 rooms as a Diamond or book 1 room in my name as Diamond and 1 in my partner's name who is a Gold member?

Cheers

Alan

I would play it safe and book both rooms in your name. After you get to the hotel and get your upgrade, then change the second room to your partners name if he wants the points.
I had 2 rooms in London last year and as a Diamond, they were both upgraded.

Agreed, as a Diamond the two times I have done this, both rooms were upgraded.
