why BUF is so expensive..?

Rates is about $36 per weekend day and $38 for a weekday. Enterprise is renting at about $16 per weekend day at Rochester airport. Any reason why BUF is a lot higher than ROC?

$38 for a weekday is pretty good for an airport location, regardless of car class. SEA wants about $70 for a full-size. I pay $35 for a full-size at my HLE on the weekdays.

The weekend rates seem high, as my HLE drops to $20 and SEA drops to about $15.

I rented in June of 2003 and it was pretty reasonable for a weekend. My only beef is I rented a Premium and received a specialty full-size. Ended up saving more money in fuel then I lost in rate on the downgrade so I let it slide.

Hi.. funny thing is that BUF becomes a last minute special

Jan 15 10am - Jan 18 10am at BUF, rate code LAST

I wonder why the extra day is $4.80... seems rate code LAST screws up the weekday rate.

March 11 - March 12 (dummy dates) for BUF, I can get the following prices :

Avis - Intermediate Chevrolet Malibu or Similar. Cost for 1 Day: 40.99 USD

Hertz - Standard Car Mustang, Monte Carlo or Similar. Cost for 1 Day : $58.99 USD

Thrifty - for some reason I can't get Thrifty's website to find BUF existing at all

Dollar - As above

So I'd say that it's just Hertz that is godly exensive in BUF. Throw in a coupon code or two, and BUF should be quite reasonable I'd say.

Those 2 do not have locations at BUF.

Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, and National are the only majors/in terminal companies.
