The "guaranteed" upgrade was hit or miss even before bankruptcy, and it's probably good as dead now. If they have cars in your reserved category, that's probably what you'll get.

As a former Hertz employee, the only classes booked that grant you "guaranteed" upgrades (if available) were A (Economy) through F (Full Size). If you booked a H4, which I believe is a prestige class SUV, that is what you're going to get. Of course it varies by location what kind of inventory they have in that class.

Does Hertz no longer rent (T6) Extra Capacity Large SUV’s at HLE’s? Cannot seem to find one in my area anywhere, and would rather not rent from the airport. Only one HLE around me is renting (T) Large SUV, but I really need something bigger like a Suburban or Yukon XL.

Hi all,
I am looking for a rental for about a week at the start of September from SFO to do the pacific highway. I have just looked on CostCo and they have got the Hendrick Camaro SS (class V6) for about $850 for the week. That seems like a crazy good deal and I might have to jump on it!! Has anyone rented that car before?
P.S. Coming from the UK, an american muscle car is the goal compared to all the 1.2 turbo's we get over here lol

The Mustang GT has a better interior and it's a much more comfortable ride, but the Camaro SS is a bit faster.

Using the Amex plat code and if you look around on all Hertz UK/EU sites (prices differ but you can book on ANY of those sites) you could easily get it for 1500 a MONTH (pre-pay). See attachment for september-october example.

You can also get a week's worth for around 300GBP/350€. For dates later this year or 2022 the cheapest car atm is by far the Hendrick Camaro SS.

I reserved in MIA a P4 and was given a K (I’m PC along with the entire world lol) this I guess is technically an upgrade albeit the 530i I received was a 2019…were halfway through 2021 :/ (this made a difference since there weren’t any usb c ports and no wireless charging - I charged my phone at restaurants smh)

It's always handy to pack a car charger in your bag...

Believe I saw a Ford Bronco last night in the JAX garage. Don't recall if it had the yellow sticker on the door or not to indicate if it was a rental or employee personal vehicle.

Was that a bronco or the smaller bronco sport?
The bronco sport has been in the fleet for a few months, but not the bronco
