So as a PC member, what is the guaranteed upgrade supposed to be to? I assumed it was to a premium, because that is what I have received in the past at various airport locations (and I know the benefit is maximum upgrade to a premium), but every time I have rented a full-size I always received a premium.
I am having a problem at IAD, where they say that they do not follow that policy and do not upgrade to premium from a full size car. I had to be persistent with them until they finally relented. Was I right in stating that I should get a premium or is it up to their discretion? When I picked up the car, I had a camry waiting and they said that was my upgrade benefit

Also, upgrades are based on availability. They almost always have a way out

I don´t know who owns the Bentley. It was just parked at the entrance of the Hertz parking lot together with other cars like a Mercedes convertible, Dodge Challenger and a Corvette.

Kia Rio, or any of the CCARs (see the first post). A number of CCARs are former ECARs (e.g. Aveo, Accent) so on an ECAR reservation it's pretty easy to get a compact. You might get a midsize but don't count on it. Key West is a relatively small location so even with the drive-out, selection will be limited.

I have a bus conference in Clearwater Beach for that week then I thought it would be nice to have some quality daddy son bonding time in the car for a nice three day drive home.
One more question. #2 If I book this promo with AAA will I still be able to get a car seat at NC for the one way? If not I'll bring my own.

Appreciate the incredible fast reply! I presume if I book the same promo but book either a Standard or a Full size I'll get a Altima (S) or a Malibu (F)?
I have a bus conference in Clearwater Beach for that week then I thought it would be nice to have some quality daddy son bonding time in the car for a nice three day drive home.
One more question. If I book this promo with AAA will I still be able to get a car seat at NC for the one way? If not I'll bring my own.

As for the car seat, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to get it. If you can get it in the booking process, then there shouldn't be a problem. They might be reluctant to give you one since it's a one-way but if you request it in your reservation then they are obligated to. Many people do prefer to bring their own since they know it's clean, how it works, etc.

Appreciate the info, especially about the car seat! I noormally bring it along but it is such a pain to bring it along with stroller and diaper bag and I thought this trip it may be nice to not carry it.
