It depends on the rental. If you pay for LDW on a compact, then yeah... it's pretty close. If you pay for LDW on a Prestige, then it's way cheaper than the usual rate without points. I pay $280 for LDW for a week while using points on the Prestige class, but they normally rent for over $1000 per week without points and no LDW (LDW cost also varies with location, this quote is for TPA at $39.99 per day).

This language is functionally identical for my Amex Gold, Amex Work Gold, and my Aeroplan Gold.

Even if u use your points to pay for the rental, the AMEX covers LDW - is this what you are saying?

From your policy:
" The full cost, including applicable taxes, of the rental, must be charged to their Card."

So if u use points, then no go.

How long has it been taking Hertz points to post from an e rewards transaction? I redeemed the $60 for 500 pts today. I need to use them in 13 days. Thanks!

My own question has been answered. Took 1 day
