Award Rental...from HLE or airport?
Hi. I'm a 5* gold planning using points for an award rental in August.
Does anyone have thoughts on where I have the best shot at getting an upgrade for the trip? (We are taking a looong drive and I'm hoping to get something a little nicer than your standard F vehicle.)
I have the option of renting a vehicle in Manhattan, Jersey City or one of the NYC-area airports.
I was thinking that a bigger location (i.e. LGA, EWR etc) might have more inventory and therefore a better shot at an upgrade, compared to a HLE in Manhattan or Jersey City.
Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks.
