I'm at KOA now and it's a disaster. Except for the concessions.
Concessions? I see now the delays are pushed onwards. WN giving up and going to HNL, UA to OGG.

We were heading down to KOA yesterday ( private) but our plane went mechanical and we are now scheduled for this morning. No one with the airline service mentioned the issues at the airport and and it sounds like perhaps we were lucky our flight got postponed until today. Apparently no repairs were conducted last night so we may have dodged a bullet.

We flew out of Signature last week so I guess we lucked out also. Gotta say not horrible to cater from Kona Brewing Company back to SFO ha ha.

Looking forward to catering back up to the States out of Kona.... our catering down tasted and looked like it had been adapted from a Costco run.......... there was also no running water in the bathroom...which in my mind is not the level expected on a private flight. This, along with other issues...the flight down was weird. But we got here.

FYI KOA is closed this morning, 4/12 yet again, due to cracks on the runway. All flights being redirected to OGG and HNL.

It's amazing how many people make this mistake. Yes, I've done it too.
