Anyone redeemed Hawaiian Airlines miles for gift cards?

Anyone redeemed Hawaiian Airlines miles for gift cards?
I noticed the timeframes for redeeming Hawaiian Airlines miles for gift cards is really long. For example, the $25 Foodland gift card takes 4-6 weeks. Does it really take as long as that?
I was going to redeem gift cards for use on my next trip to Hawaii in 3 weeks, since I don't have enough to use on a flight and don't know if my miles will become useless to me if/when they get transferred to Alaskan Airlines miles.

I redeemed some maybe 2-3 years ago when they were offering HA gift cards. IIRC it took several (6-8?) weeks for the cards to arrive.
Edited to add: your miles will not become useless when/if the Alaska merger closes. Generally they should be more useful/flexible, albeit at the possible cost of some current use cases (eg Alaska's current mileage upgrades are considerably less useful than Hawaiian's).
