Hawaiian Facing Multiple Operational Problems

I had heard of the A321NEO engine shortage, and am not surprised this is affecting Hawaiian. But their problems are being compounded by delays at HNL due to runway reconstruction and air traffic control priorities.

Yeah, interisland has been a hot mess for months, particularly in the evenings. Front line people are mostly doing a heroic job of dealing with the chaos, but dumping last week's IT transition on top of their other problems wasn't great. Ingram said on the investor call that huge numbers of people had been working on it for a very long time, which makes it all the more mystifying that line people seemed not to have been given the tools and training to make much of anything happen without at least 15 minutes of typing and looking quizzical.
