Best award values using partner miles (inter-island hopping)
Flying HNL-KOA, AA offers 1-way awards at 5k miles. Delta offers roundtrip awards at 15k miles. There is good availability for both and I'm inclined to burn my DL miles.
These flights are for HA, but any other airline is fine. Are these the best redemptions using partner miles?

You can only use partner miles on HA or WP. WP doesn't serve HNL-KOA, so it's down to HA. 5k o/w is the cheapest redemption for HA using AA or UA miles. Whether 15k for a RT using DL miles is really in the eye of the beholder.
