Thank you for the suggestion. But I've been doing AA LGA-DFW/ORD-HNL 3 times a year in F for 11 years now.

The saving of 2 1/2 to 3 hours each way, not dealing with the weather in one more airport or missed connections (there's been a few) trumps a dubious weggie seat that my wife doesn't like much anyway. And a little bit of Aloha would be a nice touch too.

Indeed.
As I've posted in other threads, I'll be ecstatic when they hit Chicago.
But NYC is great. No complaints.

My 3rd preference would be MCO. This way I've got NY, FL, and IL covered!
All my Major Business hubs covered by my favorite Airline? NY, Chicago, Florida, and Southern Cal/Vegas (already covered)? Yikes!
Happy days!

Now if only HA would step up and improve their onboard premium product with some appropriate long haul seating, that would make then complete. Bad thing for HA too is that they can only rely on O/D traffic but perhaps they'll expand codeshares with an airline to feed this flight.
Aren't they getting some more 332s in the early part of 2012...maybe they're finally gonna step up with a new interior config....

Very nice indeed.

I am sure that IAD and Chicago would be next on their sights. Being that they are already close to the only other direct flight (UA/CO) from the NYC area, I wouldn't doubt they will also go after the Chicago and Washington DC area as well.
I'm left to wonder when they will start JFK - LAS - HNL service. That would seem logical as well.

Interesting... Saw this in the MR deals- always exciting to see new routes. When was the last time JFK-HNL n/s was served?

Terminal 5 to Terminal 4 @ JFK

Yesterday my confirmation indicated departure of HA (JFK/HNL) being at Terminal 5 --- Today just checked to imput my ff # and noticed the Terminal for departure and arrival is Terminal 4 @ JFK.

Yes, they will have a special inaugurate ceremony at the gate. You can see water salute where A330 is on taxiway. You will take a picture the water cannon salute. You will see it.

No, actually, some entire crews will have spent the night and they will able resume flying long-haul flight back to HNL. They have to change the crew during 9 hours in-flight.
