Consolidated "Hawaiian Airlines HNL-JFK service" Thread
Starting with a sale fare of about $450 r/t ai . Seats are extremely limited at this fare. Look for fare to hit early November 16.
It's great to have more non-stop competition to NYC area.

Very clever (and attractive) pricing for the month of June (must book by November 20):
Coach - $212+tax (NYC area code)
First - $808+tax (HNL area code)

More East Coast for HA?
According to the article announcing JFK-HNL, HA wants to do more East Coast flying: link.
Any speculation as to where?
According to Census 2010, the EC cities (I'm going to use Eastern time-zone) in the top 50 are as follows
NYC, PHL, JAX, IND, CLT , CMH, DTW, BWI, BOS, IAD, MIA, ORF, RDU, ATL, CLE
I'm going to go get some popcorn and sit back and watch the experts speculate as to where HA will go next on the East Coast.
Thanks!
Mr. Dunkerley said New York is the first in a line of Eastern U.S. cities the airline aims to serve in coming years. "All the big cities on the East Coast are on our list," he said.

HOLY %&#$!
The second I saw this I booked it for June for me and my gf.
Everyone knows that RT between JFK and HNL for $450 or less is a hell of a deal. I highly recommend that you book this IMMEDIATELY without thinking twice.
And Hawaiian Airlines is quite good. ^

Wow, I'm shocked!!! I guess I'm wrong from time to time. All HA needs to do is have a codeshare with B6 to feed some incremental passengers to the flight and they're golden.
There shouldn't be any weight restrictions on the A330.

FYI, HA uses recliner seats on this route. Unless you really prefer non-stop, you might want to check out AA throgh ORD or DFW instead. Otherwise in Y, HA looks much better then AA's product.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone-ETOPS: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A334 Safari/7534.48.3)
Now if only HA would step up and improve their onboard premium product with some appropriate long haul seating, that would make then complete. Bad thing for HA too is that they can only rely on O/D traffic but perhaps they'll expand codeshares with an airline to feed this flight.
