Applied yesterday, called in, got denied for both due to 'too many credit inquiries'
DATA POINT (this is my track record)
75k AA visa - July 2011
75k AA BIZ - Sept 2011 - nulled
50k AA BIZ - Oct 2011
2 night Hyatt - August 2011
60k HH Amex - Jan 2012
I also leased a car in Dec, so I may have to wait 2-3 months before doing another set of cards.

I called into the 888 # and they told me it was approved. They didn't say if it was BOA or BOH. I called in and they told me it was approved again for the same CL. I hope it was the other app! Does it just show them the next app in the queue each time?
I do remember there being a seperate phone # for the BOA and BOH card, although everyone here says to use 888-503-6090 for both.

I applied online with the link and when it told me to phone a number for decision the screen went to BOH homepage too quickly so I had to go back to the message screen twice to copy the phone number. Somehow this resulted in 2 applications when I phoned FIA.
Amazingly they approved both on the phone !
I already have a BofA HA card which I kept open and a Virgin Atlantic card which I closed today on the same call.
I had been told on here that you can have multiples of same card with FIA but you must wait 90 days between applications.
Maybe not...

How long did it take miles to post after the first statement closes?

My statement closed yesterday and the miles posted today. Be advised though that they seem to be spreading out the mileage over two statement periods - I received 20K last statement and 15K this statement. I believe this is discussed up thread as well.

My wife applied for both and was denied at first for the BofA Hawaii card. She also applied for the VS AMEX BofA card and at first was also approved then received a letter of denial. She called up BofA and with some questions and waiting on hold, the CSR divided $14000 of credit she had on an old BofA card into 3 and approved her for both of the other cards.
She also received a denial and approval letter for BofH Hawaii card. The denial was dated 03/06/2012 and the approval was dated 03/07/2012. I am hoping the approval trumps the denial.
Besides it being reported on FT that the two cards are handled through the same company this was not true for us. If anyone needs the BofH CS number it is 800-342-2309

i applied for the bank of hawaii card.called for reconsideration and i was approved but when i received the card it was a platinum BoH visa card wich i believe only has 10K bonus. is there any way to get the signature version of this card with the 35K bonus?anyone has experienced same thing?
