It would probably be good for you to start a new thread to propose an event since it would be "lost" in this thread. Please feel free to PM me if you'd like to get some suggestions for organizing an event.
FWIW, we are going to be in London September 12-15 (leaving in the morning of the 15) and don't have definite plans except for theater tickets for Fri Sept 14.

anabolism - I think you'll have more luck if you post the dinners in separate threads - I'm betting you can get people interested in London and possibly Hong Kong - the other places might be doubtful though.

PSP Gayla VII?
Is the Palm Springs Gayla still happening in March? The only thread I could find is the poll thread that was locked back in October.

This is one quiet thread for a STICKY!!!
It needs a bump!
And what better reason to give it a bump than to promote a POSSIBLE or PROSPECTIVE Gayla/DO?
So, with that in mind, would anyone be interested in having a catered cocktail party (in a private, New Orleans Marriott, hospitality suite) Southern Decadence (September 2-5, 2011) DO/Gayla, for say $15/person for the hors d'oeuvres (only), or $25/person including hors d'oeuvres and beer/wine? It would have to be for at least 10-15 people to make it work, but the suite could easily accommodate 30-40 people for a party. Any thoughts?
According to FT "DO rules," we would need at least FIVE FlyerTalk members to confirm interest before it goes on the DO list page. So far, we have three, including me. (Once there are five members who indicate YES, I will get a DO list entry, plus we can talk about time, date, menu, and PayPal, etc.)
Interested attendees: USirritated, Cann75inNJ (+friends), dollaroff

MAL
I'll give this thread a bump. I know this is a while away, but anyone going to MAL in DC on January 13 to 16?
Our office will be open on January 16, but I am planning on going January 13 to 15. I never stay at the host hotel for this event seeing the city is dead that weekend (with the exception of it happens to fall during an inaugeration) and rooms are dirt cheap at other properties that weekend.
