taxi in germany
Can someone tell me how much taxi's in germany cost ( in gerneral?)
I need to travel around 30 km by taxi, and i would like to know how much is going to cost me ( or have atleast some sort of number in my head)
( srry i just saw there is special germany part could a mod plse move it there?)

While I don't have numbers, I can tell you it will be EXPENSIVE
Especially for a trip that long.Definitelly not Budget Travel subject

The answer to your question can vary greatly depending on where you start your journey. Cabs registered in rural areas tend to be significantly cheaper than cabs registered in large cities.
Frankfurt's taxis are in the Top 10 list for the most expensive prices in Germany, so that is probably a good guide in any case.

A simple 10km taxi ride from Walldorf, south of FRA airport to terminal 1 runs 25-30 euros. Ugh... The alternative is the 5521 bus from there.

Prices vary between cities. In general I would say 40€ to 50€. For example from Wiesbaden to Frankfurt airport are about 30km and this will cost you 45€.

And on the other hand TXL to Berlin city centre is also around 10km and usually only costs €18-20. So it really does all depend where the OP is planning to travel!
