I am so glad I'm flying to ZRH next week and HAM the week after - I had seriously considered taking the Bahn for both trips, but I'm now glad I decided against it.

Will be in Germany in about 1,5 weeks. Any news on if this is going to expand?

Hard to tell, especially since it hasn't even started yet. It could already be over in 10 days time, but who knows.

Anyway, I'll be budgeting some extra time if I have to take a train somewhere (doesn't look like it, fortunately).

As this information is not LH or M&M specific but of general interest I will move this thread to the Germany forum.

Have a nice day

Well ok for moving it to the Germany forum, but the LH AirRail service will also be affected thus again making it an LH/M&M topic again.

Flying is bad for the environment. So, if you want to be a polluter and irresponsible citizen, go ahead, but don't expect praise.

Engine drivers will strike on Tuesday (03.07.2007) from 5am to 9am nation-wide. It is recommended to avoid the train during this time frame.
