Please help about connection in Frankfurt
I and my 2 years daughter are going to Stockholm and we have to change plane in Fra Terminal 1 , we will land 5.30 in FRA ,same terminal, and the connection flight LH 3000 will leave from FRA 7.15 . I have never been in FRA and never made connection flight before. I am really concern that am I going to make it ?
My question are , after we landed in FRA What I should do ,where I have to go through till we go on board an airplane? ,please explain step by step, and what our chances are of making or missing our second flight ?. If there's a good chance of missing this plane, I want to plan accordingly.
Thank You
Pucca

Welcome to Flyertalk!
To enable us to help you properly can you tell us (a) what airline you are arriving on (and from where), and (b) whether this trip was booked as a through connection?
This is the English version of the Frankfurt Airport web site:
http://www.airportcity-frankfurt.com...rt_city_en.htm
You can probably find answers to most of your questions there.

welcome to FT.
you have plenty of time. how do you move the kid? is the 2 yo mobile, or does she need to be on wheels. I have never gotten much help at fra, and it is full of escalators and broken elevators. the only elevators I have ever found to work at fra only go down???
just find out where(gate letter and number) you have to go, keep the kid tight, as the place is very busy, and check and follow all the signs to your new gate.
I have been through the place many times(20 or 40), but I have no idea how it is laid out, I just follow the signs. I only know a trick at the c gates.
As i said eariler, I have found very little assistance, but you should not need much.
there is considerable discussion of fra on the lh site, and a lot on ua. read those posts, and if still confused, as a question there. the lh people never go home they only shuffle between fra and muc.

You will need to clear Immigration (because both Germany and Sweden are in Schengen - there will be no Immigration controls in Stockholm), but you don't actually have to look for the Immigration desk as your route will take you past it.
It should really all be very straightforward... just get off your flight, find out your gate number (it may be on your boarding pass, if not you will find it on a screen) and follow the signs.
One thing to be aware of (but nothing to worry about!) is that signposting at FRA is a bit erratic in places... sometimes you'll follow signs to a specific place and then you get to a junction and you can't see any signs for where you are heading. Don't panic if that happens - the signs are there, they are just hidden round a corner somewhere. Just take a deep breath and have a good look.
You should be fine. Have a good trip!
