LAX to BCN through FRA

LAX to BCN through FRA
I have a question and cannot seem to find the answer. We are flying on LH from LAX to BCN. We have a connecting flight in Frankfurt. Once we deplane in FRA will we need to go through security or passport control before heading to our connecting flight? I’m almost sure of passport control but not security. We have a two hour layover if our first flight arrives on time.

Some general comments:
1. Two hours of connection time should be more than enough in FRA.
2. Just follow the signs in FRA. They will not lead you astray
