visa refusal
hi, i am offered an internship in a tennis academy near Frankfurt(Obernburg). I applied for short term visa(90 days). Unfortunately the application got rejected. The reason mentioned on the refusal is 1) the information submitted regarding the justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was not reliable.
The internship letter has the date and a statement that the cost of living and food will be taken care by the tennis academy with the directors signature. He has simply written the accomodation address on a page and signed it as a proof of accomodation. The purpose of this internship is mentioned in the cover letter but not in the letter from the employer. What should i do next? I have my flight on 27th of April.. Please help.. I am tensed a bit

You need to get a proper invitation letter from the academy, i.e., the academy needs to state the purpose of your trip in the letter, and it also needs to explicitly state in the letter that the academy will provide accommodation and food.
Again: this needs to be stated BY THE ACADEMY and IN THEIR LETTER. That you claim in your letter that this is true is irrelevant for the visa - the institution providing the support needs to make these statements.
Get them to write the letter and fedex or fax it to you as quickly as possible. Then try to get an expedited visa through one of the visa service agencies, if this is available in your country (if you had stated where you come from it would have been easier to help...).

This does not work this way with the German state department. It is the consular services of the embassy or the consulate which processed the application which is responsible. But Taj already stated what the problem was: the invitation letter did not meet the requirements since they did not state explicitly who would pay/provide the accommodation.

Unfortunately if the visa was rejected once you cannot submit a simple sponsor letter (original or scan/fax). Your sponsor needs to go to the Foreigners Office in the County (Miltenberg) of Oberburg:
http://www.landkreis-miltenberg.de/L...nderwesen.aspx
There your sponsor has to provide proof that they will support and accommodate you. When the officer is satisfied that the plan is genuine, he will prepare a bond document which your sponsor will sign and then mail to you in India. This bond document needs to be attached to your visa application, and the consulate usually issues the visa on the spot without further questions.
I had a similar situation when a friend (at the time 28years old IT professional) wanted to visit me. When he submitted the application at the consulate, they immediately advised him not to submit it, but get the above. Once I sent him everything the visa was issued.

What i feel is the employer's letter is
incomplete. He hasnt mentioned the purpose of my visit(just an internship is mentioned) nor has he mentioned the proper proof of accomodation. Do you still think that he should go the office there? Or a letter with proper information will do?

Olivers explanation is spot on - as your application was rejected once I would not just try it again with a slightly corrected invitation letter. You need to go the way Oliver has mentioned. And your academy needs to do this at Miltenberg Landratsamt quickly for you as otherwise the time will be too short to accomplish everything before end of April.

If they are based in Haibach they have to go to the LKR Aschaffenburg Foreigners office: http://www.landkreis-aschaffenburg.d...6I4004756I2265
It would be best for your sponsor to contact either office to clarify where they need to go.
