Yeah and MGM's new dining credit isn't available to matched status either. I wonder if that's where Caesars got the idea.

But I agree, not too sad about losing the dining credit, as long as the waived resort fees and free valet are still available.

DP: Did *not* get new celebration dinner after status expired / rematched

I had Diamond from 2018-2022 (matched). Last used a celebration dinner in 2020. Re-matched in February 2022, and had it take effect in early March.

On March 7, I asked at Total Rewards desk at Bally's LV to confirm I had a new dinner. No dice.

Excellent.

Caesars is taking away benefits and degrading the overall program right and left. If they stop giving away $100 dinners to 0 TC Diamonds, maybe that's one small step in stopping the hemorrhaging of benefits and value for those who earn status.

DP: Rematched from Wyndham 2/1, got Diamond a few days later. Picked up Diamond card in Vegas, confirmed $100 dinner. Used it yesterday, no problem.

I earned 9 tier credits and bought a few $9 beers at caesars palace in exchange for my $200 in celebration dinners.

DP: redeemed diamond dinner

I was matched to diamond from Wyndham in February 2022, but then was downgraded back to gold when caesars caught on. I was a 0 TC diamond. No gambling.
To my surprise the rewards desk told me the dinner is on my account despite me now being gold. Successfully redeemed at caesars palace Mar 2022.

Any recommendations on where to use the $100 dining credit at the Harrah's New Orleans? Do they have a buffet?

As a local I always eat at The Steakhouse. Just to avoid confusion it's the one inside the casino itself, not BH steak or Ruths Chris which are on Fulton St closer to the hotel. Not sure on buffet or if it qualifies.

Is there a way my son can redeem my celebration dinner? He is near Baltimore, I am not near anything and do not plan a trip by the years end.

You need ID to use any players card so unless your son has the same first name as you I'm guessing it gets questioned by the server.

Your dinner expires 1/31/2023 if that helps

Curious if any DPs on Wyndham matched Diamond dining benefit still there? Seems like mixed last year.

I'll be the DP we all need - heading there this weekend (not staying in a Caesar's property, but will go over to one/a TR desk and ask) and will report back - I too matched from Wyndham (merry go round style).
