Tier Bonus with Hotels

With the new feature of 5X tier points on hotels booked directly via Caesars, does anyone know when those Tier Points would hit and if they would be eligible for the bonus? For instance, booking a nicer room with a view,to get to the 2,500 Tier Points, then those hit on checkout and since they would be earned in 1 day getting the bonus of 5,000 points or if they would be evenly spread for each day of your stay?

TIA

I'll be interested to hear a definitive answer to this as well. Under the old scheme (1 TC per $) the hotel folio posted 2-3 days after the stay and reports on here did say you'd get the tier credit bonus if you exceeded the threshold.

If that continues, a $1000 stay would get you diamond. Hopefully someone will try this out and let us know!

They are deposited 10 days after checkout. Pretty sure they are not eligible for the bonus.

Caesars is very opaque about points activity. I'm assuming "bonus" referred to the daily tier credit bonus thresholds. Doing the math, it appears that hotel and F&B spend used to generate daily tier credit threshold bonuses but you'd only find them by doing careful math and noticing odd 125/500 whatever TC jumps in your balance about a week after the fact.

Overall, it's extremely difficult to audit points activity in your TR account. Random bonuses get posted at random times with no detail available.

But, at least in the past, hotel spend would trigger daily tier credit bonuses.

Under the new earn rate of 5X tier points for hotel spend, I wouldn't even consider this a bonus. It's just that the TC earn rate on hotel spend has jumped from 1TC/$ to 5TC/$. Not a bonus per se. Just increased base earn rate. Don't call it a bonus as that is confusing.

According to CR, hospitality spend still counts towards the daily tier credit bonuses. It always did count, even when they first introduced it. It's just that Total Rewards/Caesar Rewards never really laid out the rules and T&C's for people and many CSRs didn't know exactly how it worked. Main problem is that it does NOT get added or accumulated during the date that you earned it, only counts the day it is posted. As mentioned, it can get posted any day within 10 days after you check out. Hotel charges, including the cost of room and anything you charge to the room doesn't get processed until day of checkout or sometimes the day after. With other spend like dining, shopping, or anything affiliated with or owned by the casino that you can earn TCs and RC's for, I recommend you NOT charge it to the room. Get a copy of the paid receipt and then bring it to the Caesars Reward Center and receive credit for it. They can process it right then and there. IME, you get credited about a day or 2 after, and the longest it took me was 3 or 4 days to hit my account.

"We appreciate your interest in Tier Credit bonuses. You can earn Tier Credit bonuses based on hospitality spend. However, Tier Credits earned for hospitality spend (dining, entertainment, hotel, shopping, spa, and golf) may take up to ten days to post to your account. Tier Credit bonuses will be awarded based on the date the Tier Credits post to the account, not the date of purchase."

I booked a Saturday night room, 1st paid night ever in AC, and got 1800 TCs nine days later. No bonus was awarded.

Post 6 in this thread, immediately prior to yours, supplies a clear data point.

Promotional TCs have never counted towards the daily TC bonus, so it's not really a surprise that it doesn't here either.

Where did you see this is a promotion? I havent seen anything stating that. If you read the regular T&C it clearly states hospitality spend counts towards daily tier credit bonus

Again, please refer to post 6 in this thread which supplies a clear data point. If that's not enough, then contact TR customer service and ask. Not going to argue for the sake of arguing, e.g., I never suggested these were promotional points.

This is what it says on the website.

NEW! Earn 5 Tier Credits for every $1 spent on hotel room rates and resort fees when reserved directly with us.†
† Tier Credits earned are based on a single promotional day's activity. Promotional days vary by location. Check with a Caesars Rewards Center for details. One Tier Credit bonus level awarded per promotional day and does not count toward Reward Credit balance, promotional Tier Credit earnings, or qualifying for another bonus. Tier Credits earned from a promotion or multiplier do not count towards earning a Tier Credit bonus.
I think it's pretty clear that if the TC bonus applies to spend at all it would not include the 5X multiplier.

So they are making it easy by saying "well, it will only count when it posts".

however - if the posting of the hospitality spend is high enough it should trigger for that posting day, just not in conjunction with any game play.
Looking at https://www.caesars.com/total-rewards/earn-and-redeem (bottom) makes it clear that if 500 TC post for your hotel, then you should get +125.

Question for me would be if the 500 count as 500 or as 5x = 2500 - I assume the additional 2000 are bonus TC, not 'base' TC thus only triggering the bonus for +125TC
