I don’t think they will allow 4 hours of play on Penny Slots.
What is safe bet to play? Crap/Roulette/Slot Machines/BlackJack?
Is there way to track how many hours of play is left/completed?
Did you end up going? If so, how did enforcement of the 4 hours of play go for you?

4 hours (per day or just total) of table play at $25 minimum bet is plenty of time to lose a crap ton of money. You could easily lose $1,000 playing blackjack in that time if you got on a bad streak.... or don't know how to play A slower game like Pai Gow should cost you less but could still be pricey. The whole offer for Atlantis just seems too cloudy and potentially expensive for me.

My wife and I just stayed 4 nights with three children (8,8,11) in two rooms at the Royal. We both received TR Diamond status by the means of the Amex Hilton Aspire via Wyndham and Total Rewards status matches. We received connecting rooms on the third floor in the West Royal tower facing inland, away from the ocean. I do have Marriott Platinum status but did not bother with it. We did pick up our $100 free slot play cards but I decided to not use either. We spent $0 and 0 minutes during our stay in the casino with the exception of picking up the cards and passing through it on our way to the Marina and Potter's Cay. Checkout was smooth and as expected. We were charged the $49.95 daily resort fee + 12% vat. We were also charged an additional $5 per room per day gratuity. I believe this charge is per adult & per day. The total daily charge per room was about $61. Zero questions were asked during checkin or checkout about the rate, play time requirements or anything else related to the promotion. We did get a free fridge due to medication that one of my kids needs, otherwise this is another $15/day. Personnel was in general much friendlier than reviews I had read let me believe. My kids preferred Atlantis over any other beach vacation and we have done many due to the water park. We had award tickets on Delta as well. The taxes and fees were the award tickets came to $600 and the room fees in our case came close to another $500. Consider baggage fees in our case three checked bags for another $180 and the, in part, unavoidable high food cost, this trip was hardly free. Still a great value if you have children who enjoy this sort of thing.

You spent 4 nights @ $61, totaling about $244. What were the additional costs to bring room fees up close to $500?

We were five 2 adults & three kids. Atlantis is strict about an additional person. I got the same deal for my wife and we got two connected rooms doubling the fees. However, registering the additional child into one room would have cost just about the same.

Anyone go recently? Thinking about trying to squeeze in a comp'ed trip but wanting to bring just my son, so pretty much precludes being able to gamble the 4 hours.

You only have to play slots or tables a total of 4 hours over your stay.

Anyone booked the benefit recently? For status match year 2020? I believe they extended status to 2022? Correct me if I am wrong.

Interested if that means we will get another 4 nights in 2021 or not. Also have not enjoyed the devaluation of this trip. You used to get the Casino Experience Pass which they took away for anyone with "base diamond", it was a nice perk which included some cocktails, food, dolphin encounter and a round of golf. Then for 2020 they don't give you Royal Tower as an option anymore for off peak stays. Now it's possible that's because the Royal Tower rooms were renovated this year so they wanted to save them for fully paying guests (and i'm glad they were renovated - because they were in desperate need of them). I should've self downgraded myself to the Coral Tower last time I went in 2019 cuz the Royal towers had become so dated. but the new rooms look NICE. So hopefully they'll be brought back for this deal for next year.

I saw some DP that diamond members from status match that recently tried to book the complimentary Atlantis Bahamas are not accommodated when they called the VIP hotline. They were told that they are just "diamond" (without tier credits). I am wondering if this perk is dead.

Well I think Atlantis just reopened. Or announced their reopening. So are they trying to book for Feb 2021 or later? I think they have to wait for January when the 2021 benefits get rolled out, if so. I don't think perk is dead - I would be super shocked if it was devalued further in a record-low year for tourism. It would seem Atlantis would want any form of revenue coming into their doors post-COVID.

Does Atlantis have video poker?

When I walked through the Atlantis casino a few years ago I do remember seeing a race and sports book. Wonder if betting horses counts as play for the purposes of sufficient play when staying on a Caesars Diamond comp. It should. With track takeouts generally in the 15-25% range, there is some serious juice in there for a race book, even after they pay the fee to get that track's signal.

Yes! They have Video Poker in the back (or the front depending on how you enter). If you are walking in from the Marina, the machines will be right there on your right hand side. Not sure how they would mark hours based on sports book - but the front desk has never been a stickler with me for the four hour rule. I think I usually play a few hours, but other members in my party on the same deal usually don't play much at all.

Hoping to see more data points on this. Would love to go in 2021 but I'm just "diamond" without tier credits, as well.
