Thanks, appreciate the advice.
The smoke-free part is certainly appealing and I don't drink and gamble - playing slots is stupid enough without doing it drunk
Maybe 2 nights in Cleveland and 1 in Windsor (it will be over a weekend) will be the way to go. Especially since on the Sunday Windsor has a 10x RCs for Diamonds.
I will have a rental car - how is the crossing from Detroit? Or would I be better off leaving the car behind and just getting the tunnel bus that I believe goes very close to Caesars?
I've never been to Niagara Falls but after a few days of gambling that might be too dangerous a sidetrip. It looks like a long return trip from either Windsor or Cleveland too.

I'm glad I took your advice and went with Cleveland/Windsor
No problem with the rental car/border crossing
The view from the room at Caesars across the river to Detroit was nice.
The two free nights at the Ritz Carlton Cleveland had the added bonus of a $120 food and beverage credit and it was nice to not have to run the gauntlet of the slots to get into the hotel - having said that I found the range of slots at the Horseshoe Cleveland to be great , probably because it is a new casino.

When the promo first started it was Kiosks. But that could have changed since then, seeing there were reports RIO had Kiosks and when I was there in August you had to go to the TR desk.

Thanks they still had the Kisok's, hated having to wait in line at TR desk like Joliet.

For those wondering when points will post I looked it up. Reward Credits will be awarded on or before November 15, 2012. Good luck and let others know when they start posting.

One more week and we should finally have our points. I wonder why this year took 2 weeks longer than last year.

I was expecting 75000 but got 47780
I was hoping that it was from a couple of Multipliers that I thought I had been short-changed on 6-8 weeks ago but perhaps not.
Guess I'll have to wait 4 weeks until the next statement update to check the transaction

I started out with 68 reward credits yesterday which was correct. I should have the full 75,000 coming to me. This morning when i first checked I had 25,678, an hour later 34,565, and now I have 71,299. So for some reason my account in being incrementally credited. Hopefully I will end up with the correct amount of 75,068.....
