Is Frontier the Works Refundability the Real Deal?
As above, the Works comes with refundability, is that the real deal, or some cheap out like they only refund it in airline credit, or no refunds within 24hours, etc...?

Firstly, they will try to offer a refund in the form of airline credit. Then, you will have to fill out a special form asking for the credit to be returned to the original form of payment.

My approach: When I have Elite 100K and get The Works for free, I don't bother trying to get refunds anymore. Instead, I just keep using travel credits, which are good for a full year for me.
So, for example, if I need to book a flight, I use the flight credits that I already have, instead of paying with credit card.
The advantage of using travel credits is that it's easy (don't have to do the form, and I don't have to track my credit card to see if I actually got the refund) and it always works (the refund form sometimes fails to work).

"The Works" works fine. I've refunded at leasdt a dozen Frontier tickets -- mostly because the prices have gone done and then I've rebooked. I did notice the other week that they now make it extremely easy to get refunded to credit for a Frontier flight. You can do that yourself with just a few clicks. To get a refund to your credit card, it's slightly annoying. You can fill out a form and wait, but I don't do that. I ask the rep on the chat function to cancel my ticket and process a refund to my credit card. Sometimes I get a little pushback on that -- they tell me to fill out the form -- but when I write back that I'd prefer them to process the refund, they do it without fail. Plan on spending 15 minutes on chat. I do it on a desktop and do other things, while I wait for them to respond.

I have cancelled dozens of works tickets now. Mostly because I'll speculatively book multiple departures when cheap, and take the one I end up needing.
I used to take the credit. And reuse it. But I stopped doing that because it's confusing to constantly track credits. I find it easier and cleaner to cancel and refund.
Plus, you should always want to put at least $0.01 of a ticket on a card with travel protection benefits like CSR. That way if there are irrops, lost bag, or whatever your credit card insurance covers you.
