As long as you request the refund before 24 hours of the flight, you are entitled to receive the full refund on your credit card that you used to pay. I don't know the procedure if you paid in cash.
Firstly, they will try to offer a refund in the form of airline credit. Then, you will have to fill out a special form asking for the credit to be returned to the original form of payment.
