Yeah, I could see how you'd WANT to do that. Heck, I think my last 4 or 5 chat agents all seemed initially brain dead and couldn't seem to accomplish simple tasks (like rebooking me on the specific flights I identified as the best and most reasonable alternatives to my cancelled flights). But after they said "no," I quickly explained to them what I needed and why and they then quickly made the change. Waiting for a new agent seems to now take about 20+ minutes, unless you can figure out an off-peak time. But I'm sure if I continue to fly Frontier (I probably won't do much Frontier flying unless I get another status match) the day will come when I'll have to HUCA (which is now "hang up and chat again)."

I had good luck last week and got agents within like 3 mins. It was pretty surprising.

I had a flight change with an alert from Frontier, with significant changes in the flight times. The website link took me to a session page where I had to choose Accept or Reject. I tried Reject with Refund and couldn't work and then thought Accept was to accept the Reject. I realized that I accepted the flight times that I didn't want.

I wasted a few minutes chatting with a chat bot and realized the best solution which was to fill out the form to request a refund. It worked flawlessly.

My flight was TTN-ATL round-trip. Interestingly, Frontier has increased TTN-ATL to 2x daily in September, so I found a better time the night before, but I ended up just booking again once I got confirmation my refund was approved.

Just curious, has Frontier flown 2x daily to ATL from TTN in the past?

In the latest proof that the chat people have no clue another friend got the unpleasant mess that comes from Frontier's jerking around with the schedule. Imagine you planned a getaway to Las Vegas, leave at 7pm on Tuesday and then go home at 8pm on Thursday. Well with Frontier, they cancel the 8pm flight and book you onto the 1am flight on Thursday morning. She asked the chat person to move her to another flight and they refused saying the 1am flight is only one that she can take and its already locked in (which was clearly not true). The chat person even acted like the 1am flight was a decent option, but then again when you are a low paid Philippine-based chat agent its not like you have gone through this kind of runaround yourself.

I finally was asked by my friend what to do and I told her just cancel the rescheduled flight and find another way home. It wasn't clear to her she could do that on the email from Frontier but I convinced she could and she was able to. Fortunately, Spirit has a flight a few hours earlier for just a few dollars more and for now, it appears Spirit won't obliterate its schedule like Frontier does every month. Another reminder to always book one-way flights on Frontier and never lock in your hotel or car rentals, have the ability to cancel because chances are you will have to change things around.
