How To Cancel a "The Works" Reservation?
So, if we purchase The Works and cancel the trip, we are supposed to be able to get a full refund back to the original form of payment (e.g. credit card).
Apparently, the cancellation must occur at least 24 hours before the flight. My question is: do I cancel the flight using My Trip/Check-In and THEN do the refund request form, or do I skip right to the refund request form?
A couple months ago, I did the latter, and support responded quickly, before the 24-hour cutoff, and everything was fine.
Recently, I did the latter, but support didn't respond until AFTER the 24-hour cutoff - and after the flight itself - which seemed to create problems.
For reference, here is the refund request form:

I would cancel first so there is no question regarding the timing of the cancelation. Alternatively, you could fill out the refund request form first and then cancel before the 24 hour mark (assuming they don't respond to your refund request before then).

Seems everything Frontier sells has a catch to it
If you are going to pay for the Works package, is it less expensive than competitors that include more extras in the ticket price? I don't know, I only travel with a suitcase on overseas flights which always includes the bags.

You should cancel first by clicking the "cancel" button on the reservatrion. Then file for the refund via the form.
I got burned a couple times by not cancelling >24 hours. It's not the end of the world because you end up with a credit, but it's annoying that they don't make this more clear.

I was affected by this just recently. I bought a ticket hours before departure, and added The Works specifically because I knew there was a 50/50 chance I'd need to cancel. The description of The Works on the website makes no mention of the 24 hour policy, nor are there footnotes or anything referring to "fine print". In my case, they sold me a product with advertised benefits that they knew I could not use. And they aren't budging on a refund.
