Extend 2021 match thru 2022 for $

One of the bloggers pointed out a page where you could continue your 2021 match thru 2022. They said it was targeted but it worked for me.

https://www.frontierstatusmatch.com/rematch/

In my case, I got 100k from my United status in like November or December of last year. The website allows me to maintain my 100k status thru December 2022 for $149.

I took about 5 mileage runs to try to extend it thru 2022. I failed to even attain 50k when a glitch on their part kept me from getting this months X5 miles. This is yet another example of Frontier having great annoyances and great value. I was ready to say 'screw it' but $149 is the Works for one round trip. So, yet another year of being abused by Frontiers policies, cancellations, and poor customer service reps. I am going to start referring to this as Battered Flyer Syndrome.

I can relate to you. There's so many glitches to deal with but at the same time the pricing is so cheap I'm addicted and can't let go. Having the WORKS for free on every flight is huge.

For those who are or were accustomed to legacy elite status, there's certainly a period of adjustment. I mean, there certainly was for me where I had to calmly but assertively explain to the CSRs this isn't how their policy works for refunds/credits, at least not in my interpretation.

As side benefit, since I always like things that are comical, you'll get some interesting reactions. For instance, at an Amex Centurion lounge where I'm pretty acquainted with the staff, one good naturedly--meaning well--tried to warn me about flying NK & F9 (I assume from seeing all of those viral FL videos), which I inferred to mean that "someone like me" shouldn't be flying those outfits. And, I immediately show an F9 BP to gain entry. It was one of those moments where I thought was hilarious, and I hope she shared in the humor. LOL
