Frontier status match

Frontier status match
Frontier is now enabling status matches from other airlines. However it’s tacky that they are asking for $50 to process the match. I have UA 1K and will match with Elite 100K with Frontier. My question - is it worth $50!? Considering 100k includes Discount Den membership?

If you travel them more than once, it covers the baggage fees and you'll enjoy stretch seating.

You also get your whole booking party with 100k
One thing I really like it is your whole booking party gets all the benefits with 100k stretch seating, free bags and etc. etc.
