Discontinuation of service between AUS and CLE?

I’m trying to book some travel home for the holidays and it looks like today’s round trip between Austin and Cleveland is the last scheduled. Can’t find anything direct going forward. Cleveland also seems to now be removed from
ABIA’s website list of destinations. I see no announcements from F9 though, and I didn’t think this was seasonal service.

anyone know what’s going on?

Same thing between RDU and BDL. Service ends today. No idea if/when it will be reinstated.

Spirit to Detroit might be another option to consider. I'm from Ohio and flew Frontier from Austin to Columbus and back to San Antonio from Cincinnati last year but this year they are ending these routes earlier.

I had emailed Frontier about their RDU-BDL route, and today received the following response (short version - the route is cancelled):

Thank you for contacting Frontier Airlines. We are pleased about your interest with flights between Raleigh Durham and Hartford. At this time, this route simply isn't robust enough to support point to point service within our existing network. We hope the opportunity to resume this direct service will be profitable again in the future. We consistently review our flight schedules as well as our route structure in relation to our overall business plan. Routes that have not been consistently profitable are discontinued after making all efforts to sustain profitability. These decisions are very difficult to make, however, we are forced to make tough adjustments to our schedules where it makes the most business sense. We recommend that our passengers check our website for future flight schedules as well as for the many current opportunities to take advantage of our "Low Fares Done Right". Your comments have been forwarded on. Feedback like yours enables us to review our decisions and make changes where necessary. We sincerely appreciate the support the community and airport have provided Frontier. Sincerely,
