A319 bulkhead seats

I have 1C booked for an upcoming trip and an A319.

What are your thoughts on these bulkhead seats? How's the legroom compared to non-bulkhead strech seating?

Thanks in advance for your opinions. I usually fly UA or WN out of DEN, so I appreciate any advice on F9.

Leg room is decent but the arm rests are fixed.

Legroom NOT decent IMO. In a non-bulkhead seat, you can stretch you legs under the seat in front of you. In a bulkhead seat, you can't. The maximum angle of knee/leg is probably no more than 100 degrees in a bulkhead seat. In the row behind, the maximum angle is nearly 180 degrees.

OK I stand corrected. Knee room is decent.

I try to avoid row 1. The overheads above 1 are generally filled with equipment or crew stuff, so it makes a hassle getting off the plane if you have to go back a few rows to get your stuff, and since there is no seat in front, you are forced to use an overhead. Row 2 is much better.

Row 2 is certainly my preference.

Change out of row 1 if you can. I prefer row 4 first, followed by row 3.

1) As others have noted, you will have to put ALL of your carry-on baggage behind you. I have never seen space available in row 1 and row 2 is typically very tight.

2) Arm rests are fixed.

3) Legroom is not as roomy.

4) I'm not for sure, but the DirecTV screen may not adjust up or down, but remain fixed in the unit.
