I like the fact that the job description specifically calls for encouraging the customer to use the web site.

I hadn't looked in awhile, but between Republic and Frontier there are around two dozen postings for Milwaukee and Oak Creek. They include airport jobs, res jobs, hangar jobs, and some business jobs (like Early Returns Loyalty and eCommerce.)

I would guess several of them like ramp, res, and CSR may be to fill multiple or ongoing openings.

As much as it pains my sense of job security to say it, for certain facets of the booking process the website actually seems more efficient than the tools given to Reservations Agents. I'll freely admit that there have been a few calls that I've taken more efficiently using the customer-facing website than the back office tools at my disposal. In the end, I want to keep people flying Frontier so I'll use whatever I can to keep passengers happy.

To address the recent openings, I'm thrilled. Not only will we be able to make more strides towards cutting down wait times, but I'll also gain a bit more seniority in the shift-bidding process. The latest class to come through has done well so far and is very excited to start serving customers full time. Hopefully the loyal FlyerTalkers and the entire customer base will be able to see the benefits of the recent, rapid growth soon. As an added bonus, those people considering the DEN opening will have the pleasure of interacting with me at work! (Insert eye roll here)
