Yep, there's that data point. OTOH, DL/NW is a different, bigger kettle with a much larger school of fish ... and there may be other motivations behind keeping those fora structured the way they are.

I guess what I'm asking is this: On which date does Midwest Miles formally cease to exist and in light of that fact when does it make sense to you all (as FTers) to turn out the lights in both pre-merger (child) fora? At this point in time TalkBoard is no longer material to that question so it's largely up to you when to throw the switch. Just so you know, once moved to the programs graveyard those discussions are closed for good but whenever you're ready I'll pass the word on to Mikel at Flyertalk.

That being said, before the two pre-merger fora are sent to FT heaven, would it not be productive to first review their threads for any that may still have some interest/pertinence? I'm thinking that some threads may be worth transferring to the post-alignment forum.

I moved several dozen threads from the child fora into the combined forum back in July. If I missed anything you all think relevant just let me know. Not being an F9 or YX flier I don't have a good feel as you all do about what's worth keeping open and what's not.

FWIW, MM could probably be closed now.

Am I correct to assume that it will continue to exist in Discontinued Programs?

I'm cool with the old Midwest thread being retired. I never go there any more. I have mentally replaced it with this thread.

Oh yes, absolutely. You will always be able to visit past threads in the graveyard.

In that case, it's safe to move them both to the Graveyard.

Just came in from TPA this morning and sign guys were working the sign over the West Frontier hanger. It was blank, but may be FRONTIER by now.

Yep the new sign is now up on the hanger (the one over the hanger doors).

Last call for requests to move threads from the old YX and pre-merger F9 fora to this merged forum. (Don't be shy. I get paid the same whether you speak up or not. )

On or about All Saints Day remaining discussions are set for transfer to Discontinued Programs/Partners and will be locked down for good or all eternity, whichever comes first.

Nice that they got it going ahead of the promised date (tomorrow). I've signed in and out a few times to go between my two accounts, and two of those times I got "profile system is unavailable -- please try again later" but shortly thereafter it let me sign in.

One nice thing it did was add a reservation to my profile by matching up my FF number. On the Midwest site if you booked elsewhere it didn't recognize a reservation was "you" unless you manually added it. This upcoming trip was never "added" to my Midwest profile but now shows on my Frontier profile.

Same here.

The EarlyReturns accounts have not yet been merged with MM accounts.

I am noticing changes to the Frontier site; hope there are more to come. I can't see any way to "manage accounts," as was available on the YX site; hope the function will be available.

Are you seeing your profile page? That has things like miles, segments YTD, account activity, and recent and upcoming reservations. That's kind of like the "Manage Reservations" section was on YX, where you can drill into them. However it doesn't look like you can change seat assignments, which I would like to have them add.

UPDATE my current bookings are gone now....Guess I'm not going anywyere!
