What Airline Will They Be Flying?
I understand about codeshares but this one has me a bit confused. Two colleagues in the office are flying from SLC to DEN and bought tickets for the same flight.
One has a ticket on F9 1074.
The other has a ticket on YX 2611.
As I said, I understand that until the merger is complete, F9 and YX codeshare. Not so complicated.
But on both of their tickets is the phrase "Operated by Republic Airlines".
Questions -
What airline (i.e. metal) are they actually flying?
What logo(s) will be painted on the aircraft? F9? YX? Republic? None of the above?

As far as I can see F9 1074 is an E190 aircraft with all seating configured as 2x2. I think the E190's are still in Midwest Livery except for 2. One has the badger on it and the other has the Canadian goose on it.

As safe bet is Midwest livery. As flyYX mentions, there are only two E190's with Frontier livery.
However it is painted, it will be operated by a Republic crew. I have always found the Republic crews to be both competent and efficient.
