Effective June 1, the seat letters for all aircraft from E135 up to A320 will be standardized.
A and F are always window
B and E are always center
C and D are always aisle
Airbus
A-B-C---D-E-F
Ejets
A-C---D-F
RJ
A---D-F
It will take a bit of getting used to, but consistancy is a good thing. It makes a mess when people book 170 seats as A-B---C-D and then end up on an A-C---D-F plane.
I have a handful of reservations beyond 6/1 with E170 and E190 segments, and the seat assignments have transitioned cleanly. But it's probably not a bad idea to check your seat assignments to make sure they have not been jumbled.
