CDG to Orly and vice versa

CDG to Orly and vice versa
Hey,
I'm heading to Guinea next month to visit a friend in the Peace Corps there and have most of the day (10a into CDG and 9p out of ORY) to connect in Paris. I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion on a cheap and possibly scenice way to get from De Gaulle to Orly. I'll be coming in from an overnight US-EU flight so won't be able to function at 100%, but all suggestions are very welcome. Thanks.

you have 11 hours between flights, more than enough to take a RER train into the city and sight see before heading to ORY
I'd suggest looking at some postings here for things to see, pick a few, and plan on leaving for ORY (again on RER) around 2-1/2 hours prior to departure of next flight
EDIT: you won't see that much of interest coming and going by RER but there's time when you're in the city

If you need a place to leave your luggage while sightseeing: you can leave it at Gare du Nord. (Can anyone confirm that this is still possible?)
So: RER into Gare du Nord, leave luggage, visit Paris, pick up luggage, take RER to Orly.
Of course youll be dead by 9pm...

If you've already done the Parisian tourist sites on a previous trip and only want to get between the airports, the best method is the nonstop bus run by Les Cars Air France (Route 3, though not especially scenic, travels between the two airports). You don't have to be flying AF to use them. Cost is €19,00

You don't have to be flying AF to use them. Cost is 19,00

the cars - air france ...whats the travel time betwn CDG and Orly via route 3 ?
my flight is at 9.20 am from Orly .......and the first bus is 6 30am from CDG ........will i just make it ? too risky ?......if not .are there alternatives ?

Travel time is listed as 50 minutes, although weather and/or traffic conditions could affect that estimate. If you are on the first bus, you *should* be OK. These are the pickup points for the Les Cars buses at CDG:
* Terminal 1 - Exit 34 (Arrivals level)
* Terminal 2A-2C - Exit C2
* Terminal 2D-2B - Exit B1
* Terminal 2E-2F - Gallery level, Exit 3
