Paris Hotel Recommendation Gare du Nord / Gare de l'Est?
I am attending business meetings in the 10th next month so am looking for recommendations for hotels in the Gare du Nord / Gare de l'Est area.

Or are any of those particularly "good"?

It's a "good" hotel. A bit old but without big issues. The only thing that people normally doesn't like are the surroundings. At night, the region is not a quiet place. Lot of bars with lot of people and some totally drunk ![Wink](https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif)
But talking about Paris and specifically about hotels close of the gares, will be the same in any big European capital/city.

Yeah - it's not the nicest area of the city, but that's outside my control. If it was up to me I'd be in a very different area entirely!
Thanks for the feedback and tips

A friend stayed at Hotel les Deux Gares near Gare de l'Est. I recently had lunch at their adjacent restaurant, which is casual with good food.

The 25 Hours is a former Mercure, but it is still operated by Accor; You might also look at the Ibis Styles at both Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est (slightly better than the normal Ibis hotels which are also there). There is also the Htel Hor at Gare du Nord which is a new construction. And the Htel Est next to Gare de l'Est just opened after a total reconstruction of the building which lasted at least 4 years, so it might be nice.

Just saying, the 9th and 10th arrondissements are the arrondissements with the greatest number of hotels in Paris, so this can go on a long time.
If you search for hotels on: PagesJaunes | Trouvez les professionnels autour de vous…, bien plus qu’un annuaire it will give you the exact number of meters from the hotel to either Gare du Nord or Gare de l'Est.
