CDG with SkyPriority, how fast?
I am looking to go from Paris to Frankfurt and considering my options re air/rail. If I have DL Platinum and am flying with AF (thus SkyTeam Elite Plus) how long before the flight do I need to arrive (I'm American, but since this is all within schengen I guess no immigration to do?)? I would have bags to check.

The Paris-Frankfurt route is operated by Hop ! separately from terminal 2G, a satellite terminal. You will do all your check-in/boarding there, it is a small separate terminal with not too many people as it is only Hop ! flights.
Originating from Paris and arriving by car, you can tell the taxi/get dropped off directly at 2G. I would arrive 1h before depature.
If you are arriving via public transports (RER, TGV), it's more annoying as you have to take a shuttle bus from 2F to 2G, which itself is a 10-15mn bus ride. So if I were arriving via transports, I would plan 1h30 to allow for the shuttle to 2G.
Honestly, taking the TGV from Paris-Est to Frankfurt is the better solution. When I do my trips between the two cities, it is by train, and statistically more people take the train than the plane between the two cities.

I have to go downtown Paris to FRA airport (meeting someone there). The plane costs barely more, so it's only about time.

By taking the TGV, you would arrive at the main train station/gare central Frankfurt and simply walk down 2 flights of stairs to reach the suburban trains taking you to the aeroport.

Yes, Hop ! is just a fomer regional subsidiary, kind of like the regional carriers in the US (Air Wisconsin, Piedmont, etc.....) so for all intents and purposes it is an AF flights, except on regional jets.
The distance and time from aeroport FRA to the centre is negligible, about 10-15mn train ride. All the more reason to take the train, because Roissy/CDG is nearly 1h from centre Paris.

Going the other direction, I wonder if any of you can help me a bit - On the way to Paris I will be with my wife and child. I wanted to book tickets from the FRA airport to Paris Est, but it seems you can't do this through SNCF you have to go through DB. But DB won't let me select an open saloon with table as the preference. Is there some way to select seats on a TGV train while booking through DB?

Should be possible, but I know that they release inventory only 3-4 months in advance. So wouldn't be possible to book something for say, Easter next year.

That is because the line/route runs directly south from the gare centrale Frankfurt towards Mannheim.
L'aroport is served by the east-west line towards Cologne.
Recommendation is to take the S-bahn from l'aroport to the city.

I realize i just confused things by saying to hbf and to the airport but i meant from. I'm going FRA to Paris Est in this circumstance (not the circumstance that started the thread). To be able to reserve specific seats would I have to do one booking from Flughafen Fernbahnhof to Mannheim on DB and a separate Mannheim to Paris Est on SNCF, or after i book with DB will I get a way to reserve specific seats on the InOui train? Before hand it just keys me select generic preferences which it says out can't meet (open saloon with table) despite SNCF showing almost all such seats still open.

In your situation, just take the commuter subway/S-bahn from FRA aroport to Frankfurt Hbf. Surely you can do w/o seat rsa for this 10mn stretch. Tickets for this you just buy upon arrival at the kiosk.
Then reserve your seats from Frankfurt to Paris Est. This is the only line that is shared as a partnership between SNCF and DB.
