When is CDG construction going to be over?
For several decades connecting via CXDG is a nightmare. Very long and slow taxiing. No sky bridges to connect to the plane or diverted. First, Bus transport to the security is slow, long, and in freezing cold, plain uncomfortable. Then the nightmare of security. Poorly trained employees, vague directions, very few security lines for a ton of passengers, total disregard for first class or premium passengers, inadequate instructions (should one remove shoes, belt, laptop...) are big problems. You board the bus again in the cold to go to a different terminal and gate. L is before M but is followed by K!
Over crowded and cluttered gates with toilets on another floor. You have to crowd near passenger passageways as the area near the gates are cordoned off by the airlines. To buy a cup of coffee, you have to wait in line for a long time as there is hardly any coffee shop.
France should take a lesson from other third world countries which as doing a great job of airport connections.

I don't find CDG that bad compared to a lot of other large airports, though it varies by terminal, with 1 being the worst. There, the passport lines can be really bad for morning arrivals, up to 45 minutes. Though I've seen similar at other airports. At least CDG has some decent lounges (AF, LH, Star A).

yes, good lounges but not for Jet Airways -Delta code share passengers of Delta. Jet does not allow Delta platinum or anyone unless they are Jet Airways business class or Jet Airways platinum or whatever!

I believe that is a Jet Airways issue, not a CDG issue. It all depends on what terminal and airline you are on.

Construction on Terminal 4 at CDG will be beginning soon. but it won't be completed until 2037, by which time Terminal 5 will probably be underway. That makes the original question of this thread moot.
