Potential french rail employees strike starting June 10

Could this strike halt the Paris Métro and the RER trains?

RER is run by SNCF (the national train operator) so RER trains are likely to be affected.

The metro is run by a separate company.

- most of RER A and the Southern part of RER B are run by RATP, the Metro operator
- a small part of RER A, the Northern part of RER B, RER C, D and E are run by SNCF

Strikes by cheminots (railroad workers) typically target only certain lines. French news sites like lemonde.fr will have the details.

The page I linked to says "Tuesday evening and especially Wednesday, ... one of every two TGVs on north-south routes will run, and only one out of three on Atlantic and southwest routes. Eurostar traffic will be normal, and three out of four Thalys trains will operate."

The bolded stretch should be of special interest to tourists; this links CDG to Gare Du Nord--the route they use to get to Paris.
