RER ticketing question

I will be making a day trip to Paris with 4 friends, flying to and from CDG. We will be using public transport a lot, including the RER to Central Paris. We are not interested in using Roissybus or any other bus services.

Rather than the tourist trap that is the Paris Visite ticket, we are thinking of getting a carnet of 10 tickets between CDG airport and Le Blanc Mesnil, and zone 1-3 Mobilis tickets or Ticket Jeunes Weekend (some of us are under 26).

Will we be able to get these all at CDG airport? And if so, can we stay on the same train on our journeys to and from Central Paris?

Op, if I understand your question correctly, when at CDG you can buy the RER tickets from the SNCF station. The RER B (airport ticket) is more expensive than the regular ones. I would buy an aller- retour from the airport. And a carnet as well. That you can easily buy it from the machine.

Hope I answered your question.

Yes, you can buy everything you need at the airport. If you break the trip at Le Blanc-Mesnil, you will need to change trains to validate your other ticket (the Mobilis toward Paris, the return RER ticket toward the airport).

Here are the numbers, in case anyone else is curious:

Carnet of 10 origin-destination tickets between CDG and Le Blanc-Mesnil: 46.80 € (9.36 € RT per person)
Mobilis zones 1-3: 9.05 €
Ticket Jeunes Week-end zones 1-3: 3.75 €

Total:
18.41 € per person 26 and over
13.11 € per person under 26

In comparison, a one-day Paris Visite for zones 1-5 is 22.85 €.
