dont buy a biltema screwdriver at GOT but a bag at HEL instead to check it then for free ;)
I drove GOT-STO during the night and it took 2,5 hours to find place for water and any drinks. So next time I go pick up the car from Sweden during the midsommar, need to take screwdriver and water. |

In what kind of package/case/bag did you place the screwdriver? Curious if they stuck the checked tag label directly on the screwdriver — as that would be novel. :D https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...46e6e4b714.jpg |

Looks like Lumo snack has been silently cut?! The website now only mentions complimentary drink for Lumos as well (the language has changed).
I am extremely surprised at the rate they are watering down Lumo, there's really not much above Plat benefits to begin with... (FWIW, it also might be a copy-paste error from Plat benefits as they have changed wordings for other benefits in that section as well). |

Free drink and snackYou and your travel companion will receive a free drink and a snack when flying in Finnair Economy Class. Please note that a free drink and snack are only available on flights with an onboard menu. Other services apply according to the travel class.https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...f8f5cc8d9.jpeg |

I don‘t see any change in English, also in the tier comparison table there is still the free snack.
https://www.finnair.com/fi-en/finnai...-platinum-lumo (The tier comparison matrix has never been very accurate though, mentioning "Free snacks" and "Free drinks" like they were unlimited) |

Ah yes, then it is likely that this is a very amateurish copy-paste error - nothing too surprising per se...

Does anyone knows it the softlanding to Gold is still ongoing? And if not when does the status end? Exactly on the date? I remember a "three month" rule, but nor sure about it.
Damn, the first dime since close to 20 years that I won t renew my Plat, most AY flights flown on points this year and 2024. |

I might be dense here, but is this extra month of plathood the real deal, ie full recognition of the tier in all situations?
I'm just remembering the 3 (?) month extended period they used to offer that was only done to cover the time it took for them to produce a new physical card. IIRC, if you swiped such a card and you hadn't renewd your status it came back with the lower status. |

IIRC, if you swiped such a card and you hadn't renewd your status it came back with the lower status. Just experienced it with Lumo->Plat soft landing. Even had an itinerary with a flight on 28 February and then 1 March (after tracking period ended on 31 Jan). The status was updated midway journey and Lumo benefits ended after the flight that departed 28 Feb. |

As I stated above, you get Gold vouchers, wouldn't make much sense to get Plat vouchers if you hadn't qualified for those.
