If you get rerouted from AY-marketed flight on 105-stock ticket, you can claim original routing credit. I'm not entirely sure if this works with non-105-stock. If you apply for a refund instead, I'm pretty sure you get nothing.

Is it due the possible strike or what, but to me it seems that AY has removed the availability from pretty much all destinations on next Monday 25NOV. For example ARN or CPH, not a single seat available for the whole day??? I was today in a process to book a trip next Monday to Montevideo through our company travel agent, and all of sudden all the possible connections were gone...no way to get to any of those bigger hubs that have connections to MVD...

I can't find a single AY ticket STO/CPH/OSL ticket for the 25th Nov, either.

AY zeroed monday 25th , for example KTT had award availability yesterday but now nothing even as revenue. Had already an award ticket to KTT for Monday but just changed it to Sunday 24th without any issues.

Do I understand the strike bulletin correctly that it only affects Monday flights but early morning flight ex-HEL Tue should be fine (at least with current info)?

Regarding the 0-availability for monday it is something AY does when anticipating issues, in order to limit the amount of passengers to reroute. They had a similar 0-availability to Japan during the typhoon in October, when all sales were halted for three days.

So it is definitely a countermeasure to the pending strike.

I also have a ticket bought earlier for monday 25th. Do you think they would allow change that to later dates without cost now that the strike seems probable?

They have news now published, that changes would be possible to earlier dates, not later... I will test that shortly - queuing up to chat at #7 ... And sending also a message to plat-mail - soon see which is faster.

Edit: Chat was faster "Tämänhetkisen ohjeen mukaan saadaan siirrettyä lennot aikaisemmille päiville, mutta myöhemmille ei ainakaan vielä ole lupaa siirtää.". My next question, if the first flight of the reservation can not be flown due to strike, will the return also be cancelled did not get an answer. Aggravating!

Update: Now it is possible to postpone flight to 26.-27.11.2019 if there is space in the original booking class.

Luckily I'm in Japan, not effected by all this. (even went over to the dark side, flying on AF - pleasant experience, looking forward to the return on KL. Couldn't resist their 1,5k€ C fare ex-WAW)

But boy, oh boy - 750 km from one customer to another and it's done in 200 minutes, incl 10 minutes transfer time! And we're still only discussing "1-hour Helsinki-Turku" trains...

You will not have access to any lounge based on Oneworld status if flying a Star Alliance airline. If you did not explicitly agree to the reroute, you can still solicit a rerouting on Oneworld, but there might not be so many options from BKK.

You'll presumably be flying AY or BA from Heathrow, and if so at least you'll get lounge access there.

Deal rejected

If you have a flight on 25.11 or 26.11, check the status.
