As a Plat, never had an issue. Pre-Plat days, yes some convincing was needed

Even though the text on AY pages says ”if you are departing for a non-schengen flight”🤷‍♂️ but yes always worked for me in the past, I recall only once or twice being questioned I should use Schengen lounge but been let in anyhow

It's been a year since I was in HEL. I can't remember if this lounge is before or after immigration when flying in from LHR.

Fantastic experience in Platinum wing yesterday (as ever I have to say). Excellent cocktails, staff were friendly and the food (salmon and hollandaise in particular) was delicious. Tried the showers for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Perhaps the sauna next time (I assume it is swimming attire required??). Alongside Pier F in Hong Kong one of my favourite OW lounges.

Swimming attire is optional of course, towels are available. Last time I went there, 2 Finns ordered from the bar an ice bucket full of beers and Lonkeros. One went back to the bar most likely wearing just a towel, to refill the bucket, while I was finishing my beer in sauna. Welcome to Finland!

I love the lack of inhibitions or body shame that plagues other nations. Our AirBnB host during our holiday in Lapland made a point of advising us being naked in the jacuzzi was best and that the neighbours would not mind (not that our cabin was close to others). He did make a point of telling us we should wear a hat though to keep our heads warm!

Yeah, directly from DUB gate to lounge to ICN gate. No security, no passport control.

Haven't been to the Wing in the afternoon, if I arrive near the closing time, let's say 17:10, will they let me in or are they already string to close down the service at that time?
