Pyjamas

I did a cursory search and couldn't find an answer, so apologies...

I am flying four legs in J:

BKK-HEL AY 90 08:55-15:05
HEL-JFK AY 5 14:10-15:50
JFK-HEL AY 6 17:40-08:50+1
HEL-BKK AY 89 17:35-07:15+1

Am I going to get pyjamas on any of these, or do I need to bring my own?

Finnair never provides pyjamas on any flights. Honestly, I have never seen anyone changing into their own pyjamas, but of course you can do that if you like.

Being that I'm no longer a student I'm not sure why I'd choose to sleep in my clothes! ;-)

They have obviously been thinking of that as some time ago in a customer feedback questionary they asked also if pyjama would be something you would like to have on the flight, but obviously it wasn't very much needed, as they don't still offer those.

Occasionally, I've brought onboard and changed into a QR or CX pyjama. No one will take notice if you do (but like Clarius said, it isn't the norm)
On that JFK flight I wonder if it is worth the bother to change, since there is so little time left of the flight after meal service.

Nowadays I almost always change into pyjamas/pajamas on night flights, even JFK-HEL. Just a little routine, slip into my BA First gear, order a night cap and off to slumberland.

After my recent disappointment in ba F the ONE positive thing I did take from that trip was the pyjamas. It is indeed more comfortable on a night flight to sleep in those. Plus you then arrive with clean clothes

That said they could use a larger size as not everyone is M or L some of us may be XL

Not many European airlines offer PJs in J.

Infact, my airline PJs are so precious to me, I've never used them

So if anyone wants to buy unused First PJs for less than the ticket price, PM me

Looks like I have completely misunderestimated the use of pyjamas on Finnair flights!

Yeah, seems like it's all about bragging rights.

Yes, but in a very subtle way, as most people will not have any clue what the small sign in the chest of the pajamas means But I also find it much more comfortable to sleep in pajamas than jeans etc. (and if I travel in a suit, it will not get even more wrinkled)...

Oh, that link brought me to the "Lounge trouser". Should satisfy Finnair's "towel mandatory" policy in the lounge area.
Now I just need to get that flat stomach and bulging chest.
