Lost & Found

I just wonder if its possible to go to the L&F of AY/HEL if transiting with a time of about 1 hour?

Lost my phone on a plane, it was found - so AY contacted me and asked me to pick it up.

My Ipad was found on a (AY) plane and taken to Lentjntie 1:

It is landside, 1 hour transit should be doable on quiet day.

You can check the current length of the security queue with the Helsinki airport mobile application, if you are concerned about leaving the air side.

Lentjntie 1? Here you need to show the paper work and even with a taxi, 1hr transit is slightly risky. Also note, their open hours are pretty stingy.

That map is misleading. There is no need for taxi, same distance from T2 than Hilton.

I would try it, but I m afraid of the "paperwork" since she has nothing from AY, just the message - your phone is at L&F - no case number i.e.

How it works, do you just go there show your ID - thats it? Or do you need a casenumber or something like this.

I believe there must be two completely different lost and founds. The one I was referring to in previous messages is run by Finavia off of a "barrack" and is when something is confiscated from luggage. This location is certainly walkable, but is a lot further than e.g. the Hilton.

I got e-mail with casenumber. IIRC just show ID, fill some form, pay the fee and that's it. Whole process took maybe 2 minutes.
